The More Time Passes, the More of a Jerk I Become

A slice-of-life story, willingly whisked away and never to return. I thought it was just a transaction, but who knew we’d keep drifting farther and farther apart!

Someone asked what I thought of Pickleland and Islandland. Here’s a tactful way to put it!

What you carry on your shoulders isn’t always a responsibility.

Feeling hot all over isn’t always a symptom of illness.

Bulging veins aren’t always on your arms.

Panting and gasping aren’t always from running a race.

Trying not to laugh isn’t always a sign of anger.

Screaming over and over isn’t always because of pain.

An explosive climax isn’t always about untapped potential.
