The Phantom Champion

Synopsis: The gods, jealous of the demon realm’s prosperity, turned Iruma-kun into a demon and sent Lingxiang to infiltrate the demon realm as a spy, gather intelligence, and prepare for war. She is the other child adopted by Sullivan, and entered Babyls on the same day as Iruma. She hides a deadly secret: her wings are pure white feathers, and her blood is gold.

Just as Iruma must never be discovered as a human, she must never spread her wings.

She uses divine power, which is defensive in nature, to shield everyone and heal them, but the cost is that her power is depleted.

As she saves others, she is also pushing herself toward death.

(There is a pairing: Opera. Their love is restrained, and romance is a small part of the story.)

This is the authority granted to her as an angel. Killing demons is her mission, something that requires no hesitation.

But after saying it so many times, she can no longer tell whether it is a threat or just bluster to hide her soft heart.

The gods say demons are violent and bloodthirsty. But the demons she sees are willing to risk their lives for their companions and burn with passion for their dreams.

She doesn’t want to admit it, but she seems to... be starting to like this place.

“I came here to kill demons. But what if the first person I want to kill is actually myself?”

* This is a story about primal evil. Champions of justice, please do not read!

* Includes original plotlines and standout moments. Please forgive any out-of-character behavior.

* The heroine is usually a little tsundere and cute, but calm and decisive at critical moments. She is the youngest in her class, but always tells Iruma she is his big sister. She’s definitely not his little sister.

* To avoid following the original too closely, some specialized terms may be translated differently. Please understand.
