The Song Family of the Four Seas

In the Jiangnan region during the Song Dynasty, the Shen family built its fortune on silk.

Master Shen oversees the business from home, managing the family enterprise. His eldest son, Shen Chenghao, boldly ventures along the Silk Road and travels all the way to Europe, where he encounters a romance with a foreigner. His second son, Shen Chengyu, has a gift for business and makes his way across Bianliang, the Western Regions, and Japan, forging bonds through marriage. His youngest daughter, Shen Chengyao, is a gifted craftswoman whose skill and ingenuity preserve tradition while inspiring innovation, making the art of Song brocade ever more exquisite.

Each member of the family puts their talents to work, using silk to connect the four corners of the world. Together, they weave a local silk business into a legend spanning East and West, making the Shen family’s Song brocade famous throughout the land.
