[Sci-Fi] [Alternate Universe] [Interstellar] [Strong Female Lead]
"A passionate girl who refuses to believe in fate" × "A sharp-tongued, scheming boy"
Volume 1, Chapters 1–6, isn't all that interesting. The main story only begins in Volume 2.
In her past life, she was his enemy in a life-or-death struggle. In this life, she's gone, and the one who takes her place is now by his side.
After transmigrating and being reborn, two virtual people only want to lay low with the new her, but their efforts have the opposite effect.
They investigate the secrets of transmigration and rebirth, and uncover a conspiracy spanning two lifetimes.
They fulfill her last wish:
“To write a new chapter of the future, one of brilliant glory that will never fade.”
“For her, for me, and for the world, this is the best choice.”
“He told me not to believe in fate. What we've lost can't come back, but we can't let it have been lost for nothing.”
“Rather than believe in the gods, we should tear apart those nightmares with our own hands.”
“I achieved my dream without dying amid the turmoil. What do I have left to regret?”
Together, they write a new poem for the future, and with this life, defend Chi Jing.
[Reader Advisory]
The author wants to connect all the fictional worlds they've ever imagined and written about in this book, so there may be quite a lot of characters.
The settings vary, including cyberpunk, xianxia fantasy, matriarchy, the apocalypse, and the Middle Ages.
There are a few angsty moments, but the story also has its satisfying highs now and then.
Read with care.
