The Great Ming Prince of Pingxi

He is a modern veteran, the descendant of a soldier who fought in the War of Resistance Against Japan. One day, he transmigrates to the beginning of the seventeenth year of Chongzhen, when the Han realm is teetering on the brink of collapse. Worse, he transmigrates into the body of an infamous traitor's ancestor. In a few months, he will receive an imperial decree to come to the capital's aid, but the Ming dynasty's doom is already irreversible. Should he establish his own domain, join the Manchus, surrender to the rebels, or stay loyal to the Ming? Or should he strike out on his own? Even he doesn't know. In these difficult times, he meets a fellow modern comrade who has likewise transmigrated, into the imperial harem. Together, how can the two of them turn the tide and change the course of history?
