Looking for Online Gaming Stories with No Deadweight Little Sister, and a Protagonist Who Isn't a Pushover or a Simp

I don't care whether the protagonist is a lone wolf or whether there's a female lead. Just please don't make the protagonist a simp. I read a book that called itself a 'no female lead' story, but the protagonist acted like a simp for a bunch of women and gave away tons of gear for free. It was so toxic. Please recommend a good book to cleanse my palate.
