Step One: Become a Zombie; Step N: Save the World

[Strong Female Lead] [Post-Apocalyptic. Lots of mind games and strategic contests, with a male lead (though he isn't very prominent) and some romance between two women. If that's not your thing, feel free to drop the novel early.]

What do you do when you can't beat them? Join them!

After the zombie apocalypse breaks out, Su Haoqiong first joins the horde and luckily becomes a strange zombie who retains her self-awareness. Once the human survivor groups begin to grow stronger, she tries to protect herself by pretending to be human and infiltrating one of them, all while saying, "If you can't beat them, join them."

Now she is doing everything she can to help research a cure for the zombie virus, hoping to become human again as soon as possible.

"Come on, please, heavens! If this doesn't work soon, I'm going to be exposed!"
