When the deep call of the ancient era echoed into the present, a legendary Demon God was awakened once more. His very existence had once sent tremors through heaven and earth, making him the greatest source of fear among the three realms. He was the embodiment of power, but also the origin of tragedy.
The immortals, Buddhas, and gods joined forces to seal him away, seeking to protect their dignity and power and to avert the threat he might pose. Though the Demon God possessed boundless power, his mercy kept him from slaughtering the innocent. Even so, the three realms did not spare him. Instead, they chose the mightiest ancient immortal to put an end to him.
Time passed. Two thousand years later, the Demon God's remaining consciousness awakened inside an innocent little boy. After an unfortunate accident, the child became the new vessel for that consciousness. Once bullied by others and neglected by his parents, the boy suddenly found himself in possession of unimaginable power. When his grief and fury merged with the Demon God's grievance, a new era of revenge began.
From recluses deep in the mountains to kings of the city, from the exalted figures of the three realms to ordinary people in the mortal world, everyone was tied to this storm. Which side would they choose? And what kind of change would the union of the Demon God and the boy bring to this world?
This is a complex world, rife with power struggles, betrayal, friendship, and love. It is a turbulent age, where the lines between heroes and demons, gods and devils, have grown blurred. As ancient hatred meets newly kindled fury, an unprecedented storm is about to break.
