Crossing the Tribulation

[Revenge + Truth + Defiant and Unruly + Master of Sharp Retorts + Memorable One-Liners] Ji Jingxing and Ji Wushu once declared their resolve to Mo Yuzhu atop the Order Tower: “The chance to live I want… is for protecting the innocent, who have nothing to do with greed and ambition, not them!”

“…I’d rather be a horse running free than a bird in a cage! I, Ji Wushu, don’t want to merely keep myself untainted in this Order Bureau jianghu filled with the corpses of poison victims. Nor am I willing to wait for some so-called better days ahead. So… even if I’m smashed to pieces, I won’t fear it!”

They lived up to those words. Through the years that came before and the choices that lay ahead, they always held fast to their convictions.

Even as children, they bore the burden of blood vengeance. One concealed his identity and became the personal disciple of the head of Yongjing Sect, while the other founded a business and built a city, becoming its young lord. They seemed to have nothing to do with each other, yet each searched for the true culprit in his own way, intent on avenging their great wrong. More than a decade later, one pursued while the other fled, as they were drawn into a string of sudden deaths in a remote village in Jingshan. Peeling back the layers, they purged internal troubles and eliminated outside threats. Then, when faced with an even more powerful enemy, they chose to risk their lives and face death head-on. At last, together with the “Uncle” who had vanished years ago, they joined forces without fear of death and settled the old score.
