[Time Mysteries] + [Myths and Legends] + [Historical Transmigration] + [Cthulhu] + [The Unknowable]
There are no gods in real-world time, but certain minor events can cause new branches to extend from the river of history. In these new branches, gods and evil spirits have always existed.
Chu Sheng, under surveillance by the Time Investigation Bureau, is greeted the moment he appears by a message from his wife, who died two thousand years ago.
As he travels through historical branching points, Chu Sheng gradually discovers that the river of history has been contaminated. The origin of time itself seems to be sick.
At these historical branching points, the gods of myth and legend are utterly unknowable.
History, too, holds countless possibilities.
And everything happening in the present is constantly shaping the future...
It's a very good book, but it feels a bit brain-burning 🤦
Interesting book worth reading
