“After observing him for several days, I’ve learned that whenever Chi Huo activates his ability, a white space forms inside his body or in his mouth, swallowing whatever he wants to send into another dimension. He can release the energy of things he has swallowed into that other dimension, and he is immune to it.”
This is only a small part of Chi Huo’s ability. He thought he could use this valuable power to make it big on Earth and give his family a better life.
But it was as if the world were playing a joke on him. While fleeing his pursuers, Chi Huo was inexplicably knocked unconscious in what should have been a minor car crash, and found himself in this absurd steampunk world.
Missing his family, Chi Huo had no desire to linger in this world. He kept searching for a way back.
Revolutionaries, nuns, evil gods, mages...
After enduring all manner of hardships, Chi Huo finds that a god who calls himself a false deity has opened a door to Earth for him...
But when Chi Huo looks at the people he knows in this world, he is torn between two choices...
This book is quite good
The background of the world is quite interesting, but the protagonist seems a bit out of place in this world view without killing people. I hope the protagonist can be more integrated into this world in the future. Big cheers for the author!
