The book "Shishuoxinyu" is so interesting! It is like a "circle of friends" of ancient celebrities. The stories in it are short and concise, but full of wisdom and interest. I especially like the story of Corporal Chen Fanlixian. I was very touched by his respect for Xu Ruzi. This reminds me of Liu Bei in "The Romance of the Three Kingdoms". He also respected Zhuge Liang so much that he only invited him to come out after visiting the thatched cottage three times.
