"Daddy-Long-Legs, it's like I'm backed into a corner and have to take on the world alone."
The little orphan Judy, because of her outstanding writing ability, was sponsored by an anonymous director to go to college, and her life changed forever. Daddy-Long-Legs is Judy's nickname for the kindhearted director.
"Dear little Judy, you didn't guess that I was Daddy-Long-Legs, did you?"
Daddy-long-legs requires Judy to write a letter to him every month. Although he never replies, he is gradually infected by Judy's cheerfulness and playfulness. He transformed into Judy's roommate's uncle, Master Jervis, and fell in love with Judy. But Judy rejected Jervis's proposal, and the heartbroken Jervis contracted pneumonia and was bedridden. Unknowingly, Judy wrote to Daddy-Long-Legs for advice, and unexpectedly received a handwritten reply. They met in New York, and Judy was shocked to find that her uncle-long-legs was actually Jervis whom she longed for...

It's a very interesting book, a book similar to a fairy tale. Although many motives are not explained as to why Master Jervis chose Judy, we can't read fairy tales with too rational ideas, can we? Just be happy.
I don't think the connotation of the word conscientiousness should be instilled in children, it's an abhorrent word. The starting point for anything you do should be love.
I love all the nifty gadgets, but I would never mortgage my future to get them.
Would you be particularly disappointed if I ended up not being a great writer, but just an ordinary girl?
The most important thing in life is not luxury and pleasure, but getting great pleasure from the little things. Uncle, I have learned the secret of happiness, which is to live in the present. Don't be immersed in regrets about the past, and don't daydream about the future, but seize every moment of the present. ——Childhood animation, using words to relive a happy, self-reliant, confident girl.
This book is very heartwarming and allowed me to see a girl working hard for her dreams. I like the description of Judy's life in the orphanage. Her tenacity and optimism are admirable. Especially the sentence "The first Wednesday of every month is terrible!" Made me feel her busyness and exhaustion. Her correspondence with Daddy-Long-Legs is also interesting, full of anticipation and surprise. This book makes me believe that those who persist in their dreams will have a happy ending.
It's nice. Daddy-long-legs here is very kind to Qiao Ruosa, and Qiao Ruosa is also very kind to him.
Julia would give sweets to the heroine, but the heroine was jealous of her. Ahhhh, it's so good (don't read it), unless you like Jane Eyre
Okay, I admit it. This is how their relationship started.
The heroine herself is not perfect, and she does not need to be perfect.
