Synopsis

"Human Words" is the representative work of Wang Guowei, a master of modern Chinese studies. In the form of traditional Chinese words, it brings together Western philosophy, literature and aesthetic ideas, and provides a wonderful and unique commentary on traditional Chinese literature. The whole book takes the theory of "realm" as the core, with incisive arguments and a self-contained system. It is a classic work in Chinese classical literary criticism. This book contains 64 final manuscripts and 50 unpublished manuscripts of "Human Words" that Wang Guowei deleted, revised, and revised. Appropriate annotations and textual translations are provided for each article, as well as Mr. Ye Jiaying's interpretation of Wang Guowei's "Human Words", allowing readers to easily understand Wang Guowei's literary and aesthetic thoughts. At the same time, the text is appended with poems, Ci cards, selections from Wang Guowei's "Human Ci", Wang Guowei's life, biography of the poet, etc. The famous painter Lin Xi was invited to draw the cover of this book.

As a book review, Mr. Ye Jiaying's writing is very detailed and easy to understand, and there are inevitably some subjective elements in it. I don't agree with it, but I respect the ideas of the two gentlemen. The combination of their thoughts can further improve my own thinking ability; for Wang Guowei's "Human Words" "At the same time as the commentary, there is also an appreciation and unique insights into Mr. Jing'an's poems. Wang Guowei is worthy of a generation of great masters, and his attainments in poetry have reached the realm of civilization. Unfortunately, I don't have enough poetry accumulation, and I can't understand many of the analyses. First-time readers are advised to first understand these ancient Chinese poems and the life of the corresponding author, so that they may better understand Mr. Jing'an's thoughts. This book is like a good teacher and helpful friend. It not only has Mr. Wang Guowei's incisive arguments, but also Mr. Ye Jiaying's profound interpretation, making it easy for a poetry novice like me to understand. In particular, the "three realms" mentioned in it remind me of my own experience in finding a job. Only by clarifying the goal like "going up to a tall building alone" and pursuing it as hard as "making people haggard for Yixiao" can I finally "look back suddenly" and find a job that suits me.
