What is the true intention behind the inadvertent behavior?
Do dreams really have realistic meaning?
How much impact does sex have on life?
Depression, obsessive-compulsive disorder, what causes these mental illnesses?
Many people are interested in the questions Freud raised but are intimidated by his tome.
"Introduction to Psychoanalysis" is a collection of his public lecture notes. The course goes from the shallower to the deeper, systematically introducing his main psychological theories, such as mistakes, sex, dreams, subconsciousness, etc. In the book, following the master's rhythm, we will get the answers to the questions.
Over the past 100 years, "Introduction to Psychoanalysis" has led countless people into the world of psychology, and has also become a classic book that the public cannot miss to understand the Freudian school.
On the occasion of the 100th anniversary of the end of Freud's psychoanalytic courses, this book is faithful to the full German version without any abridgements, restoring to you the style of Freud's speeches at that time.
Reader comments
If you just treat this book as an extracurricular understanding - without pursuing professionalism, it is perfectly fine to just read the psychoanalysis part of the first chapter. Of course, you can also read the dream analysis. The dream part of the second chapter is more like the multi-dimensional application of psychoanalysis in the previous chapter. I don't understand the pathology-related parts of the third chapter. Maybe some of the theories are no longer applicable to the current situation. There is no doubt that the discussion of psychoanalysis is the most classic. As the author said, the application of psychoanalysis is not limited to patient treatment, but can also be applied to many aspects of literary, film and television creation, and is of great benefit to the exploration of personal thoughts and ideas.
Under psychoanalysis, we can see the occurrence and direction of each verbal behavior, and sort out the desires hidden under millions of words, which will be of great help to a person's outlook on life and world view. Even if he is not a patient, the reader can know in this way his true thoughts and pursuits at certain moments.
My humble opinion is that I hope everyone can benefit from it. [Sending Hearts]
This book is very interesting! I used to be curious about some of my own behaviors and thoughts, and this book helped me find some answers. It turns out that behind our inadvertent actions there may be real intentions that we don't even know we have. And Freud's explanations are easy to understand, just like chatting with a friend. I think everyone should read this book to understand themselves better.
