National Destiny Returns, and the Gods Come Back

The serious version (or so it seems): Run Xuan is a growing female protagonist and a key figure in the world of mystic cultivation. As China's national destiny revives, an extraordinary encounter when she is twelve gives her the ability to see a wondrous, bizarre world. From then on, she witnesses the return of the gods time and time again...

Run Xuan seems serious on the surface, but she's actually a little fairy with an extremely busy inner monologue. What, there's a ghost? I have to go take a look. The gods are returning? Oh my god! Doesn't that mean China is going to become incredibly powerful? My Great Emperor Pangu, Lady Nuwa... When will I finally get my hands on their figurines...?
