Zhao Xiaohua grew up in the countryside in a family struggling financially. She came with people from her hometown to a major city and found work as a nursing aide in a hospital’s orthopedic ward. Every day, there were patients to care for, beds to change, and endless messes to clean up.
But she always worked diligently. No matter how difficult a patient was, she cared for them patiently. At work, she met a man from her hometown who was also a nursing aide in the same ward. Sadly, after they married, they drifted farther and farther apart, and Zhao Xiaohua became a single mother.
The hardships of life can never crush someone who keeps striving. That’s who she is.
“Xiaohua, I like you. Can you give me a chance?”
“I’ve been married before, and I have a child.”
“That’s okay. I don’t mind.”
“I’m sorry, but I do.”
“Xiaohua, let me help you take care of your son.”
“Thank you, but I can manage on my own.”
I learned a lot about things in the hospital after reading this book. It's worth reading.
After watching the past few days, I admire the heroine's family love each other, and I also admire the heroine's positive attitude in life, no matter when it comes to marriage.
This book is well written, very informative, and very down-to-earth. I am also a single mother, but I am not as motivated as Zhao Xiaohua, nor do I have such good relatives as Zhao Xiaohua. I am so envious.
It's so beautiful, so real 😘😘
Because I have had the experience of understanding the work of nursing workers, reading this book feels more natural and friendly. It is well written. I give the author a thumbs up!
