I've always wanted to write a novel that differs from the mainstream. In this story, you'll see ordinary people struggling to survive in the apocalypse. I'll do my best to lessen the influence of the protagonist's halo, and to give every character in the novel a story of their own. Good people won't necessarily be rewarded, and a villain guilty of every evil might one day come to their senses. Most of all, there are ordinary people like you and me, struggling with their choices when faced with difficult situations. If that's not your thing, consider yourself warned.
Finally, I want to say: please take care of the home we depend on for survival. Humans aren't the only lives on this planet, and we were never meant to rule it. I've always hoped that one day people and nature can live in harmony, that gentle animals can be our friends, and that all the meat on our tables comes from farms. I hope this story can teach readers that lesson, too.
