Su Yan transmigrates, and things go badly from the start: she's caught in a fire, suspected of wrongdoing, and hunted down. As a transmigration newbie, she decides she can't live like this and makes a run for it.
Before long, she accidentally transmigrates again, this time into the body of Shen Shiqi, an unloved illegitimate daughter. This start is just as miserable: she's hunted and poisoned.
Shen Shiqi is furious. Will these people ever quit? Do they really think she has no powerful allies in ancient times?
This cold-faced general seems like a good choice: powerful, handsome, and, most importantly, rich.
When they first meet, she is Su Yan, a transmigrator who has arrived as a sacrificial offering, and he is the cold-faced general Xiao Yan.
He demands icily, "What's your name, and where do you live? Tell me the truth."
Su Yan answers obediently, "Su, as in Gusu; Yan, as in a woman's beauty. I live in Peach Blossom Spring."
The cold-faced general snaps, "What nonsense! Do you really think I wouldn't kill you?"
When they meet again, she is the pitiful illegitimate daughter Shen Shiqi, and he is Xiao Yan, the cold-faced God of War and Prince.
He points his sword at her throat. "Who put you up to impersonating her? You deserve to die!"
Shen Shiqi is deeply troubled. Everything has gone back to square one. Can she still count on this powerful ally?
Are there so few comments? I came here after reading another book by the author. The last one was hilarious. How about this one? Good reviews first, and follow-up reviews later.
It's interesting. Another book by the author is also interesting.
It's pretty good to watch, the dialogues are funny, and the plot is just right. It doesn't drag out the drama, but it has tension.
Really good! The follow-up is a bit lacking [awkward laugh][awkward laugh][awkward laugh]
I haven't finished watching it yet, but I think it's good. There are some loopholes. But it just looks good. I like this interesting plot.
