As the “60-second” countdown ended,
the spacious, brightly lit hospital turned into a red-brick dormitory from the 1960s.
Several pale faces with no pupils leaned toward Liu Tianyu. “Who are you? What are you doing in our dormitory?”
He was only a few seconds too slow to answer.
Protagonist: dead???
When he heard the words “Transaction complete,”
Liu Tianyu returned to the hospital once more.
The good news: he hadn’t died. He was alive again.
The bad news: in just over ten seconds, the “paranormal” would descend.

There are “teachers” who can ask whether something is right or wrong using exam papers.
And there are “sales clerks” who can force ghosts and monsters to trade just by producing an item.
