Delusions of Grandeur

Welcome to Wangdu. Make a wish.

When you become an S-rank player, we’ll make your wish come true.

Any wish at all!

This is an infinite-world novel focused mainly on exploring the plot and interacting with the NPCs.

The stories in each instance form the main narrative, exploring the broader themes hidden behind them.

The male and female leads’ story runs in the background, driving the plot forward.

The players’ madness, humanity, schemes, and emotions.

Cause, process, and consequence.

Metaphors, revelations, and details that grow more chilling the longer you think about them.

First Instance, “Home”:

Keywords unlocked for readers: voyeur, self-rescuer, person in distress, self-loather.

Second Instance, “The Abyss”:

Keywords unlocked for readers: light and darkness share the same source, a shared law of survival, truth concealed, war and the abyss.

Third Instance, “Neon”:

Keywords unlocked for readers: ocean, pollution, suffocation, sun, neon.

The fourth instance awaits the players’ discovery...

(The players are smart and sharp, with a thousand tricks up their sleeves! Recommended for rereading, as there are plenty of details and foreshadowing.)
