The Spirit Bound in Silk

In the otherworldly Continent of Kings, the annual Jixia Academy Cup is underway. The competition consists of story-based stages, somewhat like a mock infinite-flow game, with Yuan Ge and Xi Shi as the official pairing. The first match pits the Great Wall Garrison against Team Star, in an item-collection challenge. The second pits Team Star against the Puppet Circus, in a role-playing challenge.

“Today, Yuan, the second son of the Yuan clan of Huaicheng, and Yiguang, daughter of the Shi family, make their vows here. They bow to Heaven and Earth and become one in marriage, pledging their troth beneath Heaven and celebrating a bond spanning three lifetimes. They form a covenant of orchids, their affection enduring for a hundred generations.”
