A next-generation Hogwarts romance featuring a female protagonist. She’s a Ravenclaw, but that doesn’t mean she can’t have traits from other houses. I’ve never agreed with the online idea that Slytherins are all cunning and Gryffindors are all brave. Everyone is multifaceted, and that’s what makes people interesting. The heroine is clever and does her best to achieve what she wants, but if she can’t manage it, she won’t force the issue. She isn’t unconditionally kind. The people she will always care about most are her family and herself. She comes from a pure-blood family, so she’ll inevitably have some pure-blood supremacist beliefs at first, but later she’ll realize those views are wrong and work to change them.
The male leads and the other heroines aren’t perfect either. Everyone in this story has flaws of their own: promiscuous Blaise, devious and ruthless Riddle, the excessively mischievous twins, Oliver the ancient tree, aloof and cold Theodore, blunt Ron, Pansy who can’t stand seeing others do well, arrogant and tactless Hermione, saintly and hot-tempered early-series Harry, upright but not selfless Cedric, and others. Warning! Maybe everyone will turn dark. My writing is limited, so if this isn’t to your taste, feel free to click the back button. I’m afraid of online harassment.
The male characters I’m pursuing are Oliver, Blaise, Theodore, George, Fred, Tom, Harry, Cedric, Draco, Ron, Sirius, Regulus, and an original male character, Antar Shafiq (face claim: Edward Furlong).
The female characters I’m pursuing are Hermione, Daphne, and Astoria.
I might add Pansy later, depending on how things go when I write that part.
I particularly like the description of Harry in Chapter 21, the kind of obscure and inexperienced love, and the distant feeling between Harry and the heroine. They are not lovers but better than lovers. The plot of the if line is also very novel and exciting. I am looking forward to the next story of Brace and the heroine. There is also the main plot, the heroine's growth as a pure blood, the story of the dream, and the story of the original male protagonist. Looking forward to the next story.
The author's writing style is good and the characters are very detailed.
