After accidentally transmigrating into the world of Jujutsu Kaisen, Natsume Haruya is broke and gets kindly taken in by Masamichi Yaga, who finds him on the street while exorcising a curse. He thinks he’ll be able to settle in and go to school, but soon realizes he’s been far too optimistic. Two of his three classmates get into a fight the moment they meet, while the third watches from the sidelines and makes fun of them. Natsume Haruya pauses for half a second, then decisively joins the peanut gallery. But the show starts to feel increasingly off. How did those two go from fighting to getting together? Natsume Haruya doesn’t understand, but he keeps munching on his snacks. He has to admit, their ship is pretty good. From then on, Natsume Haruya and Shoko Ieiri take to watching Gojo the cat and Geto the fox fall in love, and they can’t stop. What’s more, they make it their daily mission to defend Gojo and Geto’s beautiful romance. (Shoko’s words: “Those two scumbags belong together. We can’t let them out there ruining anyone else’s lives.”)
So later, Suguru Geto says, “It’s nothing. Just a case of the summer blues.”
“Abandoning your cat will bring down divine punishment, you know, Suguru.” Natsume Haruya grabs Geto the fox by the collar. “Go back and cuddle with your Gojo cat. I’ll take care of the rest.”
