The Chancellor's Legitimate Daughter's Coup

{Ambitious Chancellor's Daughter vs. a Possessive Crown Prince, Tragedy, Empress, She Kills the Male Lead}

Ever since Cen Shini was born, she had a dream that no one knew about. She kept it buried deep in her heart until the time was right. When the realm was finally at peace, she at last made that dream come true.

For love, she helped Shen Yanzhao become crown prince. But after he became emperor, he grew to despise her, even forcing her to kneel before everyone just to please his favorite concubine. He even slaughtered Cen Shini's family: all 783 members of her clan, sparing no one but Cen Shini herself. It was only because the Cen clan had grown too powerful and threatened his throne.

At last, Cen Shini's heart turned cold, and she decided to bring her plans forward. She would kill Shen Yanzhao herself.

So Cen Shini set her plan in motion. At last, on this very day, she killed Shen Yanzhao with her own hands.

But could things really be that simple? A woman ruling as emperor: what a joke. The officials denounced her, vowing to make sure the history books condemned Cen Shini for all eternity.

Just then, Cen Shini discovered a secret Shen Yanzhao had been hiding. That secret helped her claim the throne.

Cen Shini struggled to her feet and used her blood as ink to write of the injustice she had suffered. She wanted to clear her family's name. Again and again, she retraced the words, afraid they could never capture all the hurt and injustice.

Thunder crashed down from the heavens. Cen Shini raised her head and swore, “Shen Yanzhao, everything that happened before was because I failed to see the truth about people. From now on, I will make all you filthy, mud-crawling wretches grovel at my feet!”

“Shen Yanzhao, it turns out I was wrong all along.”
