Xiang Liu originally wanted nothing more than a quiet, ordinary life with Xiao Yao. But fate seemed determined to push them toward tragedy. Suddenly, Xiang Liu understood that power was the only way to fight his destiny. So he resolved to establish a kingdom of ten thousand demons, giving himself the power to better protect those he wanted to keep safe.

Hong Yao is Xiao Yao from her previous life. Reborn, she has returned to protect the second young master of the Tushan family, that noble and radiant Tushan Jing, and stop him from becoming the little beggar Ye Shiqi again. She doesn’t want her cousin to die by the sword, either, so she helps him become the king of Xuanyuan.

Xiao Yao was once a princess of Haoling, but one day she discovers the secret of her birth. She doesn’t have the courage to confront her father, the king, and can only flee. There, she meets Xiang Liu, who has been silently protecting her. Her heart stirs, and when Xiang Liu is in danger, she wants to help him too.

For the first half of his life, Tushan Jing wanted nothing and simply hoped to quietly fulfill his duties as a young master of the Tushan family. Then he met Hong Yao, the woman who captured his heart, and became willing to give everything for her, whatever she wanted to do.
