The Groom Comes in a Palanquin and Knocks Out His Childhood Sweetheart

The Kingdom of Xiqin has stood for forty-seven years. Its current ruler, Qifu Zhen, who bears the title Emperor Rong, is a brave and skilled warrior who loves his people like his own children. Under his reign, Xiqin enjoys peace, prosperity, and a thriving populace.

The capital, Shengjing, lies at the center of the map of Xiqin. Nestled between mountains and water, its imposing walls rise high, forming a square enclosure around a vast city of a thousand qing. Its gates, forged from bronze, are impervious to fire and water.
