Tang Monk and his disciples went to the West to obtain scriptures, and their merits were perfect. They compiled and translated the scriptures in Yanta Temple. One day, Tang Monk suddenly felt unwell, and all his disciples were in a panic. Wukong remembered that there was a way to cure illnesses in the scriptures, but he mistakenly took the scriptures and released the demon trapped in the wordless book, thus triggering a catastrophe of fratricide. In order to resolve this disaster, Tang Monk dispersed all the disciples and allowed each to have its own independent school.
Zhu Bajie returns home in fine clothes with Zhu Xiaojie, the son of his disciple Bai Gujing whom he picked up on the road, and returns to Yunzhan Cave, hoping to renew the good relationship between Qin and Jin with his first wife. But Gao Laozhuang was burned, Yunzhan Cave was occupied, and the whereabouts of his first wife Cuilan were unknown. Later, with the help of Sun Wukong, he drove away the yellow-haired monster that occupied Yunzhan Cave and took back Yunzhan Cave. He found his first wife Cuilan again and lived a free life.
Sun Wukong settled in Fenghuokou Town by chance. With the support of local residents, he built Fakong Temple and ended his life as a wandering monk. But Mrs. Yudie, the wife of the master of the Black Wind Cave, came to the door and tried every means to take away her son Sun Yuanjing, who was accepted as a disciple by Sun Wukong. She also wanted to avenge her husband, the black bear spirit, and her lover, the yellow-haired monster. However, Mrs. Yudie's skills were low, and her calculations could not bring about the death of Wukong. She had no choice but to join the disciple of Zhu Bajie, who coveted beauty.
Unexpectedly, the yellow-haired monster dug a secret room in Yunzhan Cave and hid a tiger-headed dragon and phoenix bed. The bed was the incarnation of the devil who escaped from the wordless book. In order to escape as soon as possible and regain its magic power, the devil taught Zhu Bajie the yin and yang method of sucking in his dream. Zhu Bajie unintentionally practiced the unparalleled magic skill, so he had a hundred and eight changes. From then on, Zhu Bajie was controlled by the devil.
Mrs. Yudie joins Zhu Bajie's sect and instigates Zhu Bajie, who has mastered magic skills, to establish himself as the Supreme Being of the lower world, thus achieving the purpose of challenging the right path and avenging himself. Zhu Bajie, who was wandering between good and evil, grabbed a copy of "The Dragon Book of the Yellow Emperor" under the control of Madam Yudie. There are rumors in the world that those who have obtained the Dragon Scripture will conquer the world, which makes Zhu Bajie's ambition to be controlled by the devil ready to move.
After obtaining the "Yellow Emperor Dragon Scripture", Zhu Bajie blatantly captured the immortals in the lower world who were unwilling to surrender, and raised the banner of "the supreme being in the lower world", causing complaints in the lower world and the destruction of all living beings. Tang Seng and Wukong were inevitably humiliated when they tried to stop him, which turned their brothers against each other. Under the guidance of Guanyin Bodhisattva, Wukong went to Lingshan, where Tathagata personally taught Wukong three hundred and sixty transformations.
At the same time, Taishang Laojun learned about Zhu Bajie's actions in the lower realm, reported it to the Jade Emperor, and ordered the heavenly soldiers and generals to capture Zhu Bajie and destroy the demons. Zhu Bajie used the strategy of "The Yellow Emperor's Dragon Scripture" to beat the heavenly soldiers and generals into disgrace, and Wukong was unable to display his three hundred and sixty changes.
In the end, Sun Wukong's disciple Sun Yuanjing borrowed the Seven-Star Spear from Zhongli of the Eight Immortals to suppress Zhu Bajie's magic power, and then "subdued" Zhu Bajie. But Zhu Bajie could not recover the shadow of the past. Finally, with the help of Cuilan, he slowly recovered his original spirit, and the brothers reunited.
This article also uses the triangular relationship between Zhu Bajie, Madam Jade Butterfly and the Yellow-haired Monster to tell the intricate love story between them.
The plot of this book is very novel and interesting, and the author is very imaginative! The stories of Zhu Bajie and Sun Wukong have always been fascinating, and their emotional stories are also added to the book to make the characters more fleshed out. However, some of the plots feel a little complicated and require careful reading to understand. Overall, it's a book worth reading!
