In the water-bound towns of Jiangnan stands an ancient building called the Misty Rain Tower. Renowned throughout the jianghu, it was once a gathering place for its heroes and a place steeped in legend.
A young man named Murong Yun lives there. As the young master of the Misty Rain Tower, he is exceptionally clever, calm by nature, and skilled in poetry and song. People of the jianghu call him the “Jianghu Poet.”
Yet the Misty Rain Tower’s fortunes take a turn for the worse. Just as Murong Yun comes of age, disaster strikes. A group of mysterious men in black suddenly attacks the tower, slaughtering everyone inside and leaving Murong Yun as the sole survivor.
