Short version: One betrothal, one game, and Qing Ziyue is driven into a corner with nowhere to turn. Struggling to survive, she clings tightly to Mr. Ji's coat, only to discover in the end that he was the mastermind all along.
Simple version: Qing Ziyue doesn't want to fulfill her betrothal to her ghost husband. Then she gets swept into a game full of dangers, where there are monsters as well as complicated human hearts. Only one person helps her without asking for anything in return, and so she falls for him.
Fairy-tale version: A little lamb thinks that if she escapes to the hillside, the big bad wolf won't gobble her up. But when the wolf arrives, she realizes the hillside is his den.
Clearheaded, timid heroine x Ghost husband who's anything but kind
Sweet romance, slow burn
It's great, the plot is not sluggish at all, and I feel that except for the heroine, everyone has a bit of "kindness" in it [learned]. The author greatly encourages me to update [please give me more updates]. I want to see the interaction between Mr. Ji and the heroine.
Not bad, just a little sloppy
The plot is good, but the details are too little. Some chapters can be expanded and written more
Mr. Ji is really a tsundere. I love the setting of the cold heroine. The heroine is smart and rational. The plot is always unexpected and the pace is very fast.
