The Capital Isn’t Big, Yet Myths Are Everywhere

[Six Scions of the Capital] [Ensemble Cast] [Friendship]

For years, a saying has circulated in the capital: You may indeed be a nugget of gold, but in the capital, the ground is paved with gold.

The Six Scions of the Capital are all aristocrats who live at the very top of the social pyramid. In a circle where everyone outdoes the others in wild living, these six are a breath of fresh air.

They care nothing for fame or fortune, seek no power, and have no ambition.

That year, the six walked into Capital No. 5 High School with their hands in their pockets, convinced no one could match them.

But everyone has their share of joys and sorrows.

Zhou Jinyan had always been cool and distant toward everyone since childhood, except that he was consistently kind to Qin Xin.

Then Qin Xin was about to study abroad.

Qin Xin: You’d better keep yourself pure for me!

Zhou Jinyan: All right. I’ll save myself for you. You’re the only one for me.

Qin Xin was gone for three years.

Yu Yu: Xinxin’s gone abroad, so someone’s back to pining alone~

Zhou Jinyan: I’ve waited sixteen years already. What’s another three?

The first day of the new semester at Jing University.

Everyone knew that a handsome guy named Zhou Jinyan had joined the freshman finance department. He was the provincial top scorer on the college entrance exam, good-looking and cool-tempered, and countless girls fell for him in his work pants.

Before long, rumors spread that Zhou Jinyan had a beloved girl who had been abroad for three years. But no one believed them.

A month into the semester at Jing University.

A beautiful young woman who had just returned from abroad joined the freshman finance department. She was breathtakingly beautiful, and overnight she became the belle of Jing University.

It wasn’t until they saw Zhou Jinyan personally meet her and help carry her luggage that his classmates finally realized…

Holy crap, she’s the girl he’s been pining for!

Later, Zhou Jinyan summed up his relationship advice in one sentence:

Be friends first, then become her brother, and finally make her your darling.
