This book is so touching! Tanizaki Junichiro's love letters are really affectionate. His love for pine nuts reminds me of Florentino Ariza in "Love in the Time of Cholera", which is also a love that has accumulated over the years. Moreover, these love letters are also important materials for studying Tanizaki literature, just like "The Biography of Somerset Maugham" is very helpful for understanding Maugham's works.
