This book belongs to the "Lu Xun of a Person" series and is a collection of Lu Xun's cultural essays about books. Lu Xun was not only a writer, translator, but also an editor. He compiled and published a large number of books throughout his life. He is well aware of the huge role books play in the progress of human society. This book is divided into four series: the first is the history of publishing, the history of books, and the history of reading; the second is the preface for other people's translations; the third is the preface for personal translations; the fourth is the discussion of reading experience, which fully embodies Lu Xun's liberal democratic thoughts.
