Superpower Gossip: The Journey Home

At the dawn of the universe, an advanced civilization known as the Starwatchers created the “Eight Trigrams Compass,” an artifact containing eight-dimensional energy to record the laws of spacetime. The artifact broke into eight pieces during an interstellar war. The largest fragment fell to Earth at the Sanxingdui Ruins, where it became quantum-entangled with ancient Shu bronzes. During the Shang and Zhou dynasties, King Wen of Zhou deciphered the fragments’ energy patterns through the “Yellow River Map and Luo River Writings.” He combined them with the eight trigrams of the Book of Changes to create an energy network centered on Luoyang.

In 2023, an alien fleet called “Entropy Ashes” launched a surprise attack to reactivate the compass. During the battle, the artifact’s core, the “Singularity Key,” accidentally fell onto Mount Laojun in Luoyang, where it was found by Huang Chusheng, a high school senior out hiking. The fragment embedded itself in his collarbone, forming a golden trigram pattern and granting him the ability to foresee the future. At the same time, seven girls from different cultural regions awakened one after another:

• An ancient ginkgo tree at Hanshan Temple in Suzhou bloomed out of season, its leaf veins revealing a lost chapter of The Yellow Emperor’s Inner Canon.

• A bronze sacred tree at the Sanxingdui Ruins began to ring without a breeze, and its vibrations triggered a magnitude 3.7 earthquake on the Chengdu Plain.

• A gray wolf totem in the rock paintings of the Yin Mountains in Inner Mongolia took physical form under the moon, leaving claw marks two meters deep.

These phenomena were actually the compass fragments searching for Hosts. Each fragment carries the cultural heritage of its region. These ancient marvels were all clues left behind by the ancestors to prepare for a future crisis.
