Essays on Baiyue - Research on Guangxi Literature

This manuscript takes the works of Guangxi's modern and contemporary writers as the object of explanation, starting from the inherent literary appeal of Guangxi literature and the relationship between social and cultural enrichment, and explains the richness of the art of Guangxi's modern and contemporary literary works. This manuscript first summarizes the various artistic achievements of Guangxi literature from a social and cultural perspective; secondly, uses the method of close text reading to study the writer's cultural concepts and textual meaning; and finally sorts out the modern appeal of Guangxi literature from the perspective of the cultural and geographical characteristics of northwest Guangxi to southeast Guangxi. On the one hand, this manuscript examines the creative space and cultural resources of Guangxi literature from the perspective of cultural research, trying to find and discover the cultural choices and cultural mentality of modern and contemporary writers in Guangxi; on the other hand, it examines the creative concepts of writers and Guangxi literature from the perspective of the impact of commodity consciousness on Guangxi literature since the 1990s. The mutual potential relationship between the shaping of the academic image (the image of China), the modern life experience of Guangxi writers, the grassroots nature of the people, local consciousness, the geographical culture of northwestern Guangxi and southeastern Guangxi on literature, and the literary tension between the cultural preservation and conflict of modern and contemporary Guangxi literature are the subjective pursuit of this book.
