This book is so interesting! Thurber really portrayed the characters so deeply that I felt as if I was watching every move of these characters in the world of the book. I particularly like his portrayal of men who always want to escape reality but always back out at the last moment. Just like the character in the book who wants to be a hero but never has the courage to act, it made me laugh out loud. Moreover, Thurber's observation of life is also very delicate, and his satire on the middle class is really to the point.
