Alex wakes up in the sea breeze and the lights of the fishing village, and decides to drive the "Liberty" through the undertide realm to explore the secret of his grandfather's disappearance sixty years ago. During the voyage, he encountered many strange phenomena, and his own biological changes occurred. His ribs became a living navigation system, and he established a symbiotic relationship with marine life. After going through twists and turns, he faced a choice at the "Navel of the Sea" and finally returned to the human world while retaining part of his mutation. After that, he discovered the biological experiment conspiracy of the cargo ship, and his own mutation continued, triggering a series of events, which eventually opened a new ocean era and became part of the ocean consciousness. His story left many mysterious clues in different time and space.
