An Investment Banker in the Weeds

Investment banking is an industry imported from overseas. It once flourished, but could not escape its gradual decline. This story unfolds as investment banking goes from boom to bust, chronicling the joys and sorrows of a group of ordinary people. Unlike other works centered on powerful figures who dominate the industry, this story focuses on the everyday lives of small-time players. For those in the field, it is a keepsake; for young people still hoping to enter investment banking, a point of reference; and for curious outsiders, a glimpse through the cracks at the lives of ordinary people in this niche industry.
