Telling You I Love You in a Sea of People

My darling, you can be the star, and I’ll keep chasing your light...

Maybe when you fall completely for someone at first sight, there’s no turning back.

Xu Yuanyuan and Ji Linting, the protagonists of this story, filled each other’s youth. They secretly loved each other, each pursuing the other in their own way. They had been in love since high school.

That day, she wore a white dress, and the sight of her stayed in his heart forever.

The way he shone onstage beneath the falling snow on the night of the school sports meet lived in her memory forever.

Maybe the timing was wrong, or maybe they simply loved each other too much. Neither of them had the courage to say those four words.

Ten years passed, but the distance between them remained an uncrossable chasm, no matter how hard she tried. He was like a star in the sky, forever out of reach. She retreated into the sea of people and shouted, “Ji Linting, I love you!” But he could no longer hear her...

The greatest tragedy in love is secretly loving each other for so many years, tormenting yourselves for so long, only to realize after you’ve missed your chance that you loved me too.

When they first met: “Hello, my name is Ji Linting!”

At the end: “Goodbye, Ji Linting!”
