"Girls, Women, Others" is the winning work of the 2019 British Booker Prize. It magnificently depicts a group portrait of black British women: from avant-garde playwrights, to serious and conservative school teachers, to non-binary social media celebrities, they are diverse and full of vitality. Their speeches are precise and dazzling, but they are often ignored by society. This book records all of this in a unique and progressive creative style. The strong realistic style, combined with free verse language, vividly outlines the survival difficulties faced by women in the past century, as well as their breathtaking courage and strength.

This book resonated with me very much. The various female images described in the book seemed to be the sisters around me. The author's writing style is unique, and his words are like free verse, full of power. I was inspired by her true portrayal of women's existential plight and courage. I feel that when delivering express delivery in the city, I can face the challenges of life with tenacity and courage just like the women in the book. This is a great book worth reading!
Shocking! !
There are many stories about women in this book, divided into chapters by characters. Everyone is a blood relation or friend of the matrilineal clan.
It's a very touching story. It's very empowering to see how women like you identify themselves, deal with adversity, fight for their rights, and reconcile with themselves.
Not everyone's choices are right. As their backgrounds change and the times change, many people may change from radicals in the past to what we call "old diehards." They may have many limitations of the times themselves and may make many decisions that mainstream opinions disagree with, but they are all people who are pursuing their own happiness.
I loved every woman in the book. It was a blessing to see their interactions, friendships and conflicts
