What? This world has superpowers as well as Conan-style deductive science?!
The truth is, Conan-style deductive science is beyond scrutiny, but the Superpower Administration keeps superpowered people under surveillance.
One day, a "kindhearted" employee takes pity on Takagi Wataru, a detective who nearly gets killed by the Black Organization, and saves him. Of course, using superpowers this way is against the rules. But this incident brings the Superpower Administration's attention to Beika, a city with a terrifyingly high death rate.
Could unregistered superpowered people be responsible?
With that question in mind, the head of the Superpower Administration sends their most capable agent to investigate.
But how does this seemingly clueless detective have such a clever girlfriend?
The agent can't handle it anymore and calls headquarters for backup.
When Takagi Wataru wakes up one day, he finds that he has become a child, and that someone who looks exactly like him is by his side.
If helping with the investigation will let him return to normal, then he supposes he can lend a hand.
And so, in a daze, Takagi Wataru lends out his identity, while returning to his old life in the form of a child.
"Why are all the elementary school kids around you so smart?" the agent can't help but complain.
Takagi Wataru feels helpless, but seeing Conan from a child's perspective seems to reveal a lot more to him.
How will the Superpower Administration's investigation turn out? What stories will unfold as Takagi Wataru, trapped in a child's body, watches the agent live, work, and date while using his identity? Will his girlfriend, who is both his lover and his superior, notice anything strange?
