Rabelais was an outstanding French novelist in the sixteenth century. "Giant" is a masterpiece that he devoted his whole life to. This is a satirical novel, with five parts in total, telling the miraculous deeds of two giant kings, Gao Canda and his son Pantagruel: Gao Canda's extraordinary birth; Pantagruel's adventures when he was studying in Paris; Pantagruel and Gao Canda's discussion of marriage issues; Pantagruel traveling across the ocean to search for the source of wisdom - the "Vase of God", and finally getting his wish.

Hey, I recently read the second volume of "Giant" and it was so interesting! I especially like Gao Kangda in it. The way he was born is so special that he is simply a legend. And Pantagruel, whose adventures in Paris made me laugh. This book is full of satire and humor. I really admire the author's imagination.
