A Eunuch's Life Is a Life Too!

(Two male leads, eunuch vs. prince. In a nutshell: The road to growing up is always filled with laughter and tears! A slow-burn, nurturing story.)

Wu Shixian, much like his name suggests, has always hoped for a life free of trouble, with plenty of leisure and money. But as a corporate drone, he works diligently, staying up late and working overtime until he can barely keep up, yet his pockets remain empty. Sigh, reality leaves him no choice but to bow to fate. All he wants is to live in the moment and find a job that provides meals and accommodation, weekends off, and full benefits! After all, a worker's life matters too!

Then... the good news: he got a job with meals and accommodation. The bad news: he transmigrated, and even became a eunuch. Waaah!

Being a eunuch is no easy task: it takes a toll on body and soul. His master makes trouble all day long, and cleaning up the mess could cost him his life. One careless mistake while serving someone, and he might offend the wrong person and be sentenced to death...

Being a servant is hard, and staying alive is harder! He has to eat and play along with his master, and even cater to his feelings. Oh heavens, wait a minute, he’s nearly down to half a life from all that catering!

Waaah, a eunuch's life matters too! He wants to go home. He could even stomach the promises his boss makes! He could even take the blame for his coworkers!

(The author is a beginner at both writing and history. The history in this book is fictional and probably won't hold up to close scrutiny. It's just a writing exercise.)
