[No System] [Not a Saint] [No Female Lead] [Not Mindless]
The plot is a slow burn, and the subplots don't really get going until later.
Most of the cannon fodder have common sense and don't do stupid things.
The writing is sometimes goofy, sometimes literary.
The serious version
What do you do when you wake up one day and discover you've become the Demon King, the story's great villain?
Knowing nothing, you somehow get caught up in the protagonist's tangled love and hate.
The poor younger brother, kidnapped to the Demon Realm, learns the truth and lies low, consumed by hatred.
The righteous older brother, deceived by false virtue, searches day and night, enduring hardship without knowing the truth.
The one pulling the strings from behind the scenes sits securely above it all.

The goofy version
A born loser can't possibly beat a lucky winner, so just lie low and scrape by.
He was clearly letting the little wolf cub grow up on its own.
Why was that mistaken for a sign of danger?
The wolf cub, who should have seen him as an enemy,
turns out to be surprisingly easy to get along with?
And then there's a bunch of subordinates who wildly overthink everything.
The protagonist is already practically at the power ceiling from the start, so this isn't a leveling story.
Sometimes, just sit back and enjoy the show as a background character.
As the saying goes: Let them scheme and fight out there, while I quietly watch the game.
So don't pay too much attention to the cultivation ranks in the story.
The subplots follow a leveling-up revenge arc.
