Pokemon: Adventures in Another World

Mu Yang, a homebody, bought a game console on Taobao whose casing looked just like a Pokemon Pokédex. When it arrived, it wouldn’t turn on or charge. Mu Yang knew he’d been ripped off again. That was what he got for being cheap. The return shipping alone would cost nearly half the price of the item, so all he could do was vent in the reviews. Furious, Mu Yang slammed the game console he was charging onto the table. In his anger, he didn’t notice the power light blinking. He hit it too hard, and the console flew out of his hands, struck the wall, bounced back, and smashed into his forehead. Before he could even react, Mu Yang lost consciousness and collapsed. What he didn’t know was that, before his body even touched the floor, the counterfeit console emitted a blinding light that enveloped him. In a flash, he vanished from the room. Thus, a person went missing on Earth, and even after the case passed through the hands of numerous master detectives, it remained unsolved.
