The Empress Holds the Script and Starts Slacking Her Way Through the Palace Struggle

[Palace intrigue + transmigrate into a book + System + going crazy + favored early on + doted on exclusively later]

The System informed Jiang Yushu that she had transmigrated into a book.

She hadn’t even had time to get familiar with the story before she transmigrated. From the start, she was in a hopeless situation. Other people transmigrated as the heroine; she became a background character. After transmigrating into the book, she was forced to bind herself to a useless “make him fall for you, then take him out” System. All it did was drain her points day in and day out. It was good for nothing.

With no other choice, Jiang Yushu followed the principle “my manners are questionable, but I’ll match whatever energy you bring” with the imperial concubines. She fought her way through the palace intrigues with the useless System in tow. As for the emperor, she showered him with flattery by day and psychologically manipulated him by night. She climbed all the way from Baolin to Noble Consort.

No one knew there was anyone like Jiang Yushu in the harem, including Feng Shao. At first, he said, “Since she loves me so deeply, I suppose I should favor her a little more.”

Later, Feng Shao turned into a hopeless romantic, willingly paving the way for Jiang Yushu and letting her use him.

Jiang Yushu’s take: “I’ve never met an emperor who’s so full of himself and so prone to making things up in his head.”

P.S. Not a pure romance pairing. She won’t compete with the original heroine for the male lead. The male lead is stubborn early on, then gets thoroughly face-slapped later.
