Siheyuan: Yi Zhonghai Treats Me Like His Own Son

[No female lead, or a single female lead]

Yi Guoqiang, a thirty-year-old man, gets recruited into the Main God Space and unexpectedly binds himself to a System as well. Double the fun, right?

But who could have guessed that the Main God and the System would be incompatible?

After the two systems blow up, Yi Guoqiang falls into the legendary Love in the Courtyard.

See how the protagonist rules the compound with just one “hand” gun, and no System or pocket dimension.

(I've read lots of courtyard-compound novels, and they're all called “A Compound Full of Beasts.” The stereotype is way too strong. I'm approaching this from the TV series, with “people are born good” as my guiding principle, and will avoid piling on too much darkness.)

(P.S. People online say that in the original Courtyard story, Silly Zhu freezes to death under a bridge. I spent two days looking for the source of this supposed original, and finally found it. It was actually just a later addition in a fanfic. I couldn't find even the tiniest trace of it in the “original.”)
