Fate is a wonderful thing. A disastrous fate, even more so. When a former corporate drone who wants nothing but to lie flat runs into a destitute, crumbling immortal sect; when a one-in-a-million, bizarre spiritual root meets a lazy soul that just wants to fleece others; this cultivation journey is doomed to go off the rails, filled with the roar of exploding furnaces, the senior brother's sighs, and the villain's screams of despair. He says, "I wish for peaceful days, a full stomach, and a good night's sleep." The Heavenly Dao says, "No, you don't." This is a heartwarming (?) comedy about how a lazy freeloader is unwillingly turned into a "menace," and accidentally becomes a uniquely bizarre force in the immortal world.
