Divine Purpose

Among the countless beings in this world, whether demon, devil, or human, life itself is a path of cultivation. Only through hardship can we attain the sweetness life has to offer.

Perhaps I wanted too much sweetness...

A great calamity was approaching, and my master once divined my fate.

He said, “A divination must not be taken to its conclusion, for the Heavenly Way is unpredictable.”

Later, the mountains and rivers remained, but the people had changed beyond recognition.

The candy in my hand was sweet, yet it still could not suppress the bitterness in my heart.

Only later did I realize that the Heavenly Way is constant. It is the human heart that is unpredictable.

I lived defiantly, but in the end, I could never silence the sorrow in my heart.
