(I came up with this story back in high school. I want to finish it and fulfill that dream from back then. My writing isn't great, so bear with me.)
Whenever Yulin sees the boys playing basketball, she can't help picturing him in his jersey. “I don't think any of them are as good as you.”
Lin Yi put on a slightly smug air. “Why do you think that?” He watched her with a hint of curiosity. “Actually, you might be right~”
Yulin spread her hands helplessly. “I don't know. I just think you're really good. Maybe I've got a special filter for you.”
A flower seemed to bloom in his heart, its fragrance spilling out as joy washed over him. “That's great, then. I'm not bragging, but they really can't beat me.”
She leaned forward to investigate. “You've played against them?”
Lin Yi nodded quietly. “I've played in way too many friendly matches to count. I remember it clearly: Jiaoyang fell to my basketball skills.”
Yulin gazed at him like a fangirl, praising him again and again. “Wow, that's amazing! Who's the one who played against them? It's Lu Linyi, Lu Linyi!”
She patted him on the shoulder and gave him a kiss. “I'm your number-one fan~”
